This paper describes influence of the regular laser treatment process on the properties of electro spark coatings WC-Co and structural integrity of nominal fixed frictional joints. The properties were assessed after laser treatment by analysis microstructure, measuring the microhardness and roughness. Integrity of joints at long-time exploitation depends on fretting-resistance of contact surfaces. Because the natural contact is discrete, that was proposing treatment by a laser as a net. The great number of local of spots of contact was thus created which can maintain considerable contact stress and consequently to increase of fretting-resistance.
