Abstrakty
Selected mechanical and physical properties of ABS, PCV and PET finish. The article describes the results of pull-off tests of chosen finishing materials: ABS edge bands fixed on particleboard’s and MDF narrow surfaces, as well as PCV and PET foils covering MDF panels. The connection between ABS band and MDF board is significantly better than between ABS and particleboard. There is no significant difference between the maximum force needed to pull-off PCV and PET foil, as well as for abrasive resistance of mentioned foils. The relative hardness of PET foils is significantly higher than for PCV foils.
