Application of PIV method for cutting fluid observation during grinding process

Abstrakty
W artykule zaprezentowano metodę pomiaru PIV, którą zmodyfikowano i wykorzystano do procesów szlifowania w celu określenia zachowania przepływu płynów obróbkowych w obszarach skrawania. Badania wykonano dla płynów w postaci emulsji i mgły olejowej.
In the paper modified PIV measuring method has been presented. PIV method has been adapted in order to monitor behaviour of cutting fluids and their flows during grinding process. Investigation concerns application of two types of cutting fluid supply methods: conventional (wet machining with application of emulsion), minimum quantity lubrication (MQL).
