In this paper an idea of using non-integer order filtering for the purpose of analysis of various biomedical signals was presented. The paper is more of a conceptual character, where the very early stage of the research was described. Also some basics regarding bi-fractional filtering (BFF) were in short described together with some of the most popular filters of non-integer order recently frequently implemented for the purpose of analysis of biomedical signals such as EEG, EMG and ECG
