Because of its aesthetic aspect, the phenomenon of slippage deserves particular consideration when designing a miade-up textile product. The clothing and upholstery groups of textile products are especially sensitive to the slippage of threads. This paper present the methods of measurement of thread slippage in woven fabric. Currently used methods of assessing thread slippage do not take into consideration the inter-friction of the threads, when the textile product is subject to forces acting not only in the direction of the weft or warp but also in other directions. The procedure for testing the thread slippage in woven fabric based on the phenomenon of multidirectional loading of the woven fabric is presented.

Zjawisko przesuwalności nitek w tkaninie, wpływające na walory estetyczne wyrobu, jest niezwykle istotne przy projektowaniu konfekcjonowanych wyrobów tekstylnych. Do najważniejszych grup wyrobów narażonych na wystąpienie tego zjawiska należą tekstylia odzieżowe i obiciowe. W prezentowanej pracy przedstawiono metody badania przesuwalności nitek w tkaninie. Wśród metod stosowanych do oceny przesuwalności nitek brak jest takiej, która uwzględniałaby opór wynikający z wzajemnego tarcia nitek, gdy siły działające na wyrób tekstylny mają różne kierunki, a więc działają nie tylko wzdłuż wątku lub osnowy. Przedstawiono sposób badania przesuwalności nitek, bazujący na zjawiskach zachodzących podczas wielokierunkowego odkształcania tkaniny.
