Języki publikacji
Abstrakty
The article presents a review of the new and modern technologies utilized in oil and gas exploration performed in conventional and unconventional reservoirs. Based on the number of technical journals the authors of the paper has given short presentation of different technologies used in seismic, geophysical logging as well as drilling directional and horizontal wells. In that number, the paper specifies some very sophisticated tools and software utilized in modeling and interpretation of geology and also in so called geosteering technology used during making the directional and horizontal wells. Those technologies, used worldwide, were also introduced on Polish concession areas, mainly during executing the Shale Gas project over the last 5 years. Beside the article describes some newest technologies of the mud systems which is very important from environmental point of view. As it has been proved over the last 5 years the promoted technologies in modern drilling are very cost effective and allows to make very complex holes also in Poland.
