The dissemination of the use of Quality Management Systems in Europe in the world – for 2010-2012 Quality management systems are used in Poland and in the world since the 80s of the twentieth century. Initially, the organisations implemented mainly ISO 9001 (and its derivatives). However, in the years 2008-2010, the growth of companies having implemented a quality management system complies with the requirements of ISO 9001 began to decline. Currently, in most developed countries can talk about stagnating even when it comes to system complies with the requirements of ISO 9001. At the same time increasingly began to be used in systems for industry, which in recent years are gaining more and more popularity. When it comes to the dynamics of the system implementation in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001, maybe the situation will change when the year comes a new edition of the standard, which has significantly changed the way it works. However, before that happens, and you will be in the coming years to see if in fact the changes will lead to increased interest in the standard 9001, you should investigate how it looks in this regard the status quo. The aim of the publication is not less trace the development of the quality management system implementation in Europe and in the world in 2010-2012.
