Sudden increase of speed of industrial development in the nineteenth century and expansion of the great world religious systems facilitated the development of material civilisation and strengthening of the concept of anthropocentrism in the awareness of the societies. The Western civilisation has started to believe that humankind has a special position in the universe and is the ultimate aim of existence of cosmos. Man is the fundamental, .supreme and absolute value in the universe. He has been given the nature to subordinate it. Even at the beginning of the twentieth century man was "struggling with nature", "forcing the secrets out from nature", "changing the rivers courses", and finally at the end of that century man "conquered cosmos". It seemed that man had unlimited possibilities of subordinating the world of nature and even universe. However, there came the times of "sobering up" once a larger and larger group of people started to see the adverse impact of human activity in different places all over the world.
