The author analyses intercultural communication in business, taking the Arab world as an example. She first embarks on the socio-historical and anthropological aspects and then moves onto socio-economic and customary issues. The author proves that knowledge about business etiquette in the Arab world, in general and in particular countries remains essential in order to maintain successful business relations.
