W pracy podjęto próbę nawilżania ziarna żyta z zastosowaniem podciśnienia. Ziarno nawilżano w systemie zalewowym w komorze próżniowej, w temperaturach od 15 do 70°C i ciśnieniach w komorze od 5 do 100 kPa. Badano wilgotność ziarna po procesie. Stwierdzono istotną zależność wilgotności końcowej materiału od temperatury i ciśnienia w komorze nawilżacza.

An attempt was made to moisten the rye grain under vacuum chamber at the temperature ranging from 15 to 70 deg C and the pressure from 5 to 100 kPa. Grain moisture content was tested after processing. Significant dependence of final grain moisture content on the temperature and pressure in moistening chamber was stated.
