Reviev of chemical treatment methods for modification of polyester

Abstrakty
Surface modification of the synthetic fibres is one of the most important method chemical pretreatment, especially for improving dyeability, wettability and new functional finishing parameters. In this paper is presented review of the technical literature for improving the most important parameters for polyester fibres by alkali hydrolysis and hydrolitic treatment with enzymes belonging to the hydrolaze group.
