The paper presents the problems related to interaction of electromagnetic fields generated by heavy-current equipment with the environment. Particular attention was paid to interaction of the magnetic field component generated by the electric power busducts and transformers on the elements made of ferromagnetic material that occur in the field interaction area. The cases of high temperature increase have been considered in these systems. The results of thermovision tests made in the physical systems have been specified, completed by the comments formulated thereon.
