W artykule dokonano analizy wielkości produkcji podstawowych surowców mineralnych w świecie i w Polsce w 2015 roku, z uwzględnieniem czołowych producentów. Analizie poddano wybrane surowce z grupy metali i kamieni szlachetnych, z grupy metali kolorowych, podstawowe surowce z grupy metali lekkich lub ich rud, z grupy metali staliwnych lub ich rud, surowce energetyczne, nuklearne, i ziemie rzadkie, wybrane surowce chemiczne oraz podstawowe surowce ogniotrwałe.

The article analyzes the volumes of production of basic mineral raw minerals in the world and in Poland in 2015, including the leading producers. The analysis relates to selected raw materials from the group of metals and precious stones, from the group of non-ferrous metals, basic raw materials from the group of light metals or their ores, from the group of steel metals or their ores, energy sources, nuclear and rare grounds, selected chemical raw materials and basic refractory materials.
