W referacie skomentowano niektóre ważne aspekty metodologiczne z zakresu zarządzania ryzykiem w transporcie drogowym. Omówiono metodologię zarządzania ryzykiem drogowym opracowaną przez PIARC Technical Committee on Risk Management for Roads, która jest wiodącą międzynarodową instytucją w tym zakresie. Opisano nowy paradygmat systemowego pojmowania bezpieczeństwa ruchu drogowego upowszechniany przez The Auckland Regional Transport Authority (ARTA). Na koniec scharakteryzowano pierwszą międzynarodową normę dedykowaną dla zarządzania bezpieczeństwem ruchu drogowego, ISO 39001.

The paper commented on some important methodological aspects of risk management in road transport. Discussed road risk management methodology developed by the PIARC Technical Committee on Risk Management for Roads, which is the leading international institution in this area. Describes a new paradigm of systemic understanding of road safety popularized by The Auckland Regional Transport Authority (ARTA). At the end characterized the first international standard dedicated to road safety management, ISO 39001.
