Abstrakty
Paper deals with the application of a magnetorheological, linear damper as a device intended for reducing the recoil effect. Special damper was installed in a modified shutter stock of the automatic carbine AKMS 7.62 mm calibre. The performance evaluation was performed for the high-energy impulse excitation, generated during single shot. Extensive results are presented.
