The paper presents the description of soil-soil structures as well as the introduction to solving the problem of durability of this type of structure. Durability of such structures should be understood as the service life strength of the soil-steel system with respect of resistance on the external factors, e.g. chemical and electrochemical corrosion, abrasion. In order to evaluate the durability of soil-steel objects made from flexible steel structures, Miner’s method, usually used to traditional steel bridges is proposed.
