EN

Economic activity, and in particular any activity consisting in production and related investment processes may have an adverse effect on environment. To prevent an unreasonable degradation of natural environment and the depletion of limited natural resources it is necessary to apply certain restrictions on environmental use at the very stage of investment project. It is especially important for the unique natural areas. That is what the paper is devoted to. It presents legal and administrative limitations of the investment process and the possibilities of development of protected areas, as well as the threats related to the use of the unique natural areas.
