Abstrakty

This paper presents two methods of assessment of effectiveness and risk of construction investment projects. There are compared: one of the probabilistic-statistical methods and Monte Carlo simulation method. The comparative analysis was performed on the example of a specific investment which was the high standard hotel-conference centre. The risk assessment of projects,including construction projects, appears to become necessary. Nowadays, in an era of uncertainty resulting from the recent global fi nancial crisis, it is especially important. Methods described in this paper allow estimating the risk and helping potential investor to take appropriate decisions.
