The authors investigated the effect of temperature on pollutant decomposition in dyeing wastewater treated with ozone, hydrogen peroxide and subjected to UV radiation. Investigations were carried out on real waste water from wool and polyester dyeing, taken from one of Łódź' textile factories. The wastewater was treated with ozone, hydrogen peroxide and UV irradiation in the combinations of H2O2 +UV, H2O2+O3, H2O2+UV+O3 at temperatures ranging from 25°C to 55°C. Crude and treated wastewater was analysed and its pH, specific colour and threshold colour (CT), chemical and biochemical oxygen demand (COD) and (BOD5), respectively, anionic detergents (AD) and soluble substances (SS) were determined. It was found that temperature played a relatively insignificant role in the processes of pollutant decomposition. The best effects of treatment were obtained at the highest temperature, i.e. 55°C.

W pracy zbadano wpływ temperatury na procesy rozkładu zanieczyszczeń w ściekach barwiarskich, poddanych działaniu ozonu, nadtlenku wodoru i promieniowania UV. Badania wykonano na ściekach rzeczywistych, pochodzących z procesów barwienia wełny i poliestru, pobranych w jednym z łódzkich zakładów włókienniczych. Ścieki oczyszczano przy użyciu ozonu, nadtlenku wodoru i promieniowania UV, obejmujących kombinacje H2O2 +UV, H2O2+O3, H2O2+UV+O3 w zakresie temperatur od 25°C do 55°C. Ścieki przed i po obróbce analizowano oznaczając pH, zabarwienie specyficzne i liczbę progową barwy (CT), chemiczne i biochemiczne zapotrzebowanie tlenu (ChZT) i (BZT5), detergenty anionowe (ASPC) i substancje rozpuszczone (SR).
