W rozprawie przedstawiono wybrane zastosowania zaproponowanego przez autora algorytmu ekosystemowego, na tle analizy metod inteligencji obliczeniowej wykorzystywanych w elektroenergetyce. Praca składa się z trzech zasadniczych części. Pierwsza część zawiera analizę konstrukcji czternastu metod inteligencji obliczeniowej oraz analizę ich zastosowań w elektroenergetyce. Na tej podstawie sformułowano szereg wniosków dotyczących: inspiracji, które towarzyszyły powstaniu tych metod, cech decydujących o efektywności metod oraz istniejącej przestrzeni do powstawania i implementacji nowych metod w elektroenergetyce. Druga część zawiera opis zaproponowanej przez autora nowej metody inteligencji obliczeniowej, zainspirowanej procesami naturalnymi występującymi w ekosystemie. Przedstawiona koncepcja algorytmu ekosystemowego i podstawowe założenia dotyczące jego funkcjonowania stanowią podstawę konstrukcji kompletnego algorytmu optymalizacyjnego. Zaprezentowano strukturę algorytmu jako całości oraz konstrukcję poszczególnych jego elementów. Na trzecią część składają się opisy aplikacji zaproponowanej metody ekosystemowej w dwóch zadaniach z dziedziny elektroenergetyki oraz wyniki porównań. efektywnosci z innymi metodami. Pierwszym problemem, w którym zastosowano algorytm ekosystemowy, jest estymacja mocy szczytowych transformatorów SN/nn. Drugim problemem jest optymalizacja struktur sieci SN. Pracę wienczą wnioski dotyczące rozpatrywanych zagadnień.

Selected applications of the proposed ecosystem algorithm are presented in the dissertation. As the background, analyses of computational intelligence methods in electrical power engineering are used. The work consists of three main parts. The first part contains an analysis of construction of fourteen computational intelligence methods and analysis of their applications in electrical power engineering. Upon this, conclusions were formulated concerning: inspirations of these methods, essential features for the methods efficiency and existence of free space for emergence and implementations of new methods in electrical power engineering. The second part contains a description of a new computational intelligence method proposed by the author and inspired by natural processes appearing in an ecosystem. The presented idea of an ecosystem algorithm and basic assumptions concerning its operation underlie the construction of a complete optimisation algorithm. The algorithm structure as a coposition and construction of its elements is presented. In the third part, there are descriptions of the proposed ecosystem method applications in two electrical power engineering problems, along with efficiency comparison with other methods. The first problem was estimation of MV/LV transformer peak powers. The second was optimisation of MV electrical network structure. Finally, conclusions concerning the discussed issues are presented.
