Abstrakty

W artykule przedstawiono rozwój różnych technik biometrycznych w ostatnich latach i opisano szeroką gamę zastosowań biometrii. Pokazano model wdrażania systemu biometrycznego. Podano też przykłady innowacji, które uwydatniły zalety obecnie wprowadzanych rozwiązań biometrycznych. Wspomniano o niektórych projektach z tej dziedziny. Przytoczono bogatą literaturę tematu.

The model of biometrics adoption is presented and development of different biometric technologies in last years are described. The wide scope of these applications is characterized. Some examples of innovations which support of biometric solutions are given as well as the projects from this field are mentioned. Extensive literature of the subject is enclosed.
