Tematyką prezentowanej pracy jest próba znalezienia programu i wskazówek praktycznych do projektowania zielonych przestrzeni terapeutycznych na terenach zurbanizowanych. Na wstępie przedstawiono teorie wyjaśniające wpływ zieleni na człowieka. Następnie wyróżniono różne aspekty terapeutycznego wykorzystania zieleni w mieście. Szczególnie ważna jest rola jaką pełnią parki publiczne w budowaniu więzi społecznych. W dalszej części pracy scharakteryzowano praktyczne wskazówki do projektowania parków miejskich. Dla uzasadnienia opisano doświadczenia związane z projektowaniem krajobrazu na przykładzie parku miejskiego o cechach ogrodu terapeutycznego. Udowodniono, że terapeutyczne cechy krajobrazu można wykorzystać jako nowe narzędzie w projektowaniu tkanki miejskiej.

This paper attempts to provide practical recommendations for the design of therapeutic green spaces in urban areas. At the beginning, it presents the theories that explain the connection between greenery and human health and highlights different aspects of therapeutic use of green areas within cities The social capital enhancement provided by public parks is discussed. Next, this paper provides practical guidelines for designing urban parks and gives an example of a public park with therapeutic characteristics, It proves that the therapeutic qualities of landscape can be used as a new tool in the design of urban fabric.
