W pracy przedstawiono wyniki badań elektrycznych i odporności korozyjnej ogniw ołowiowych z płytami dodatnimi wytworzonymi z wykorzystaniem odpadowego materiału elektrodowego jako domieszki do masy aktywnej.

The paper presents electrical and corrosion resistance results of leadacid cells with positive plates produced using waste electrode material as addition to the active mass. The grids used in the study were made of PbCaSn alloy obtained by the expanded metal method. Plates preparation consisted in manual application of the paste with different waste electrode material on the grids. The study shows differences in cells behavior dependent on the amount of the introduced waste material. In addition, positive plates containing 5 and 10% wt. of waste active mass have higher capacity than a plate with standard formulation. Analyses of the produced positive plates containing waste mass that were submitted to a corrosion test showed no signs of corrosion.
