Abstrakty
The production engineer should use an appropriate inflow performance relationship (IPR) and multiphase flow pressure loss method to determine the best working point which the well should work or design an artificial lift system or other objectives. Therefore a new specific reservoir IPR was introduced. The proposed IPR has been verified for multiphase flow based on simulator results. In general, error between simulator results and estimates in predicted performance from the proposed IPR is 2.85%. A comparative study was carried out among the best correlations which are used in industry. Pressure loss calculations were performed with original methods of Hageadron—Brown, Beggs—Brill and Orkiszewski, based on the actual field data used in this research.
