W artykule zaprezentowano metodykę prawidłowego wybory najlepszej formy pozyskiwania pojazdów na przykładzie zestawu drogowego składającego się z ciągnika siodłowego i naczepy. Uwzględniono takie formy pozyskiwania pojazdów jak: zakup gotówkowy, leasing (operacyjny i finansowy), kredyt (raty stałe i zmienne), najem (krótko i długoterminowy) oraz pojazd dedykowany. Decyzję o wyborze najkorzystniejszej formy pozyskiwania pojazdów podjęto w oparciu o przeprowadzone obliczenia. Zestawiono w nich składowe przychodów oraz nakładów i kosztów dla poszczególnych form pozyskiwania pojazdów. Na ich podstawie utworzono rachunek przepływów pieniężnych netto (NCF) oraz obliczono wskaźniki efektywności finansowej inwestycji: NPV, IRR i PP. Określono również kryteria w oparciu, o które wyliczono ocenę ważoną każdej z form pozyskiwania pojazdów. Uzyskane w ten sposób rezultaty posłużyły wyborowi najkorzystniejszej formy pozyskiwania pojazdu dla dwóch strategii inwestowania we flotę, to jest w stylu akcji gdy przedsiębiorstwu zależy na uzyskaniu jak największej efektywności ekonomicznej inwestycji oraz gdy celem jest przede wszystkim duża jej elastyczność. W pierwszym przypadku najkorzystniejszą formą pozyskiwania pojazdów okazał się leasing operacyjny, a najmniej zasadną pojazd dedykowany, w drugim zaś odpowiednio najem długoterminowy i kredyt.

The analysis and the comparative assessment of the different forms of financing vehicle invesment based on the truck with semi -trailer example. In the article Authors propose the methodology of selection the appropriate form of financing vehicle investment based on the example of truck -tractor and semi -trailer investment. The following different forms of financing vehicle investment are discussed: buy for cash, leasing (operating and finance), credit (with fixed and changing loans), hiring (short and long term) and dedicated vehicle. The decision of the selection of the most appropriate form of investing in the analyzed truck -tractor and semi -trailer has been ma de with a help of the proposed methodology. Within the analysis capital expenditures, in comes and costs have been estimated for the particular forms of financing vehicle investment. Based on the estimated capital expenditures, in comes and costs NCF has been calculated for particular years of exploitation and finally financial efficiency indicators as NPV, IRR and PP have been calculated also. More over, a set of criteria to evaluate particular forms of financing vehicle investment has been constructed. Based on the criteria (the irvalues and weights) the final assessment has been done. Obtained results allowed to choose the most appropriate form of financing the investment in the analyzed truck -tractor and semi -trailer for two different fleet investment strategies. The first one assuming that the main go al of the fleet investment is financial efficiency, and the second one assuming that the main go al is financial flexibility. In the first situation, the most suitable investment form proved to be operating leasing, where as dedicated vehicle was not re commended at all, and in the second situation the best and the worst financing forms we re long term hiring and credit accordingly.
