Wskazuje on na jej zróżnicowany charakter. Jednocześnie pozwala zorientować się w wykorzystywanym instrumentarium badawczym i potencjalnych lukach w tematyce wartych uzupełnienia. Na podstawie przeglądu można bowiem określić podstawowe problemy badawcze rozpatrywane w ramach dwóch grup: modelowania i optymalizacji systemów logistycznych oraz analizy uwarunkowań powodzenia we wdrażaniu „zielonej” logistyki.

Green logistics comprises important enhancement of traditional logistics. Green logistics ensures that logistic processes providing logistic services in the proper way and focuses on limiting unfavourable influence of the services on the surrounding environment. A survey of recent research ideas in green logistics is presented in the paper. It proves that the considered research topics are diverse. They can be generally divided into 2 distinct groups. The first group deals with modelling and optimisation of logistics systems while the second one is devoted to the analysis of factors that affect the effects of green logistic system implementation. The survey presents applied modelling tools and reveals research gaps worth the completion.
