EN

The growing demand for energy forces the exploration and exploitation of unconventional sources. One of them is biogas. The article presents the sources of biogas, the advantages and disadvantages of its use for energy purposes, opportunities and advantages of cogeneration and the types of modular cogeneration devices.

Rosnące zapotrzebowanie na energię narzuca potrzebę poszukiwania i eksploatowania niekonwencjonalnych jej źródeł. Jednym z nich jest biogaz. W artykule przedstawiono źródła pozyskiwania biogazu, zalety i wady jego wykorzystania na cele energetyczne, możliwości i zalety stosowania kogeneracji oraz rodzaje modułowych systemów kogeneracji.
