Abstrakty

Interwencja zbrojna w Iraku od początku była tematem burzliwych dyskusji polityków wielu państw. Dotyczyły one głównie jej prawnego uzasadnienia w świetle stosunków międzynarodowych. Sens podjętych działań poddawano krytyce szczególnie wówczas, gdy w wyniku prowadzonych operacji nie potwierdzono istnienia dowodów, które wpłynęły na podjęcie interwencji militarnej. Problem ten stał się dla autora podstawą do głębszej analizy współcześnie prowadzonych wojen.

The armed intervention in Iraq has from the very beginning been a subject of stormy discussions between politicians of different countries. They mainly related to the intervention's legal foundation in the light of international relations. The actions in Iraq were criticized particularly in situations when these operations never confirmed there were of reasons for launching them. This problem has become for the article's author a starting point for a more profound analysis of contemporary wars.
