Abstrakty
The aim of this paper is to highlight some operational and system issues that are frequently en¬countered by navigators trying to get to grips with ECDIS. This information should also be beneficial to man¬agers and owners who are making decisions about which system and chart format to buy, and the priority that should be given to formal training ahead of a mandatory requirement.
