The paper substantiates the necessity for creating full – time Master’s Degree studies in Safety Engineering in Poland. First, the author addresses the economic and social conditions and then the training objectives are discussed. The next part of the paper presents the syllabuses of universities in different countries and career opportunities for future safety engineers.
