Z chwilą nastania sezonu na katar sienny, wielu pacjentów ma objawy choroby alergicznej oczu, czyli swędzenia, zaczerwienienia oraz łzawienia, które w znaczący sposób zaburzają jakość życia oraz samopoczucie. Choroba alergiczna oczu to również spory problem użytkowników soczewek kontaktowych. W niniejszym artykule dokonano przeglądu szeregu chorób alergicznych dających dolegliwości ze strony oczu oraz przedstawiono praktyczne rady dotyczące leczenia oraz strategii zapobiegania nawrotom choroby u użytkowników soczewek kontaktowych cierpiących na sezonowe i całoroczne alergie.
