Abstrakty

EN

Thallium is a chemical element bearing the symbol Tl and the atomic number 81. It is a gray post-transition metal. Thallium, like mercury and lead, is a heavy metal and is highly toxic. It is also a neurotoxin for the central nervous system of mammals. Thallium also appears to bioaccumulate by some plants, including trees, and may also contaminate water. This is why it is essential to optimize and validate a method for the correct determination of thallium.
