Abstrakty

The present paper discusses the results of the latest series of experimental investigations concerning a propeller-type water turbine constructed from elements of the impeller pump 25P21-2 serially produced by the Factory of Pumps in Warsaw. These investigations were carried out at various blade-angle settings of the rotor and various rotational speeds. The results of these investigations prove that propeller pumps may be applies as turbines after some adequate changes in their construction have been made. These investigations are sponsored by the Committee of Researches.
