Abstrakty

Celem pracy jest próba analizy i oceny sposobu wykorzystania tradycyjnych rozwiązań architektonicznych regionu Vorarlbergu na potrzeby kształtowania współczesnej architektury sakralnej w krajobrazie otwartym Alp. Badania dotyczyły kaplic górskich i miały charakter analityczno-poznawczy. Wykazały, że architektura kaplic górskich w badanym regionie charakteryzuje się dbałością o zachowanie cech regionalnych, ale dopuszcza twórcze reinterpretacje wzorców. Taka relacja pozwala na ewolucję form architektonicznych przy zachowaniu trwałości kulturowej.

The aim of the study is an attempt to analyze and evaluate the use of traditional architectural solutions of the Vorarlberg region for the needs of shaping contemporary sacred architecture in the open landscape of the Alps. The research which concerned mountain chapels was of analytical and cognitive nature. It showed that the architecture of mountain chapels in the studied region is characterized by care for the preservation of regional features but allows for creative reinterpretations of patterns. Such a relationship allows the evolution of architectural forms while maintaining cultural durability.
