Badania profili inteligencji wielorakich wśród studentów pierwszego roku informatyki

Celem artykułu jest określenie rozkładu inteligencji wielorakich zdefiniowanych w latach 80. ub. wieku przez Howarda Gardnera. Badaną grupą byli przede wszystkim studenci pierwszego roku informatyki. Na ich tle rozważano także dwie inne grupy studenckie. Postawiono kilka hipotez badawczych m.in. po to, by stwierdzić zróżnicowanie wśród studentów całego roku, znaleźć uśredniony rozkład inteligencji, inteligencje dominujące, korelacje pomiędzy poszczególnymi inteligencjami oraz ewentualne różnice na tle innych grup studenckich. Badana grupa ok. 70 studentów informatyki w dziedzinie nauk technicznych była specyficznie wyselekcjonowana, po pierwszym trudnym semestrze i powinna zdradzać wyraźne preferencje związane z logiczno-matematycznym aspektem inteligencji. Poza tym interesujące były korelacje pomiędzy inteligencjami i ewentualne podobieństwa pomiędzy profilami inteligencji studentów mierzone wg kryterium kNN (k najbliższych sąsiadów). Badania przeprowadzone były w warunkach pełnej dobrowolności przystąpienia do testu i na zasadzie samooceny wg pytań sugerowanych w jednym z internetowych źródeł. Zdaniem autorów wyniki wydają się być interesujące, choć nieco zaskakujące.

The aim of the article is to determine the distribution of multiple intelligences defined in the 80s of the previous century by Howard Gardner. The first year group of computer science students were the study group. Two other student groups were also considered against them. Several research hypotheses have been proposed, including in order to find a differentiation among students of the whole year, find the average distribution of intelligence, dominant intelligences, correlations between individual intelligences and possible differences in comparison with other student groups. The studied group of about 70 students of computer science in the field of technical sciences was specifically selected after the first difficult semester and should reveal clear preferences related to the logical-mathematical aspect of intelligence. In addition, the correlations between the intelligences and possible similarities between the student intelligence profiles were interesting as measured by the criterion kNN (k nearest neighbors). The research was carried out in conditions of full voluntary acceptance of the test and on the basis of self-assessment according to questions suggested in one of the Internet sources. According to the authors, the results seem to be interesting, although somewhat surprising.
