Simulation of wood surface geometry after machining. This report presents a novel technique for generating and simulation of three dimensional map of wood surface. The effect of cutting parameters and vibrations while planning is presented. Surface roughness has been quantified by means of Ra and Rz parameters. An effect of feed per tooth combined with tool diameters are the most affecting the machined surface roughness.
