In the paper the test of Cross Validation is presented and used for mathematical model evaluation. In presented example, the data of biomass growth, evaporation and irrigation obtained from experimental pots, were fitted by multiple regression. Using Cross Validation technique poor prediction by model was shown, although RR and adjusted RR were high and significant.
