Abstrakty

Artykuł dotyczy problematyki pomiaru poziomu zrównoważonego rozwoju w krajach członkowskich UE. Przedstawiono pozycję Polski na tle średniej UE oraz wybranych krajów członkowskich, na podstawie wiodących wskaźników. W artykule zaprezentowano dwa obszary tematyczne zrównoważonego rozwoju, tj. rozwój społeczno-gospodarczy oraz zrównoważona konsumpcja i produkcja. Wskaźnikami wiodącymi tych obszarów są: poziom realnego PKB na mieszkańca, poziom zużycia krajowego materiałów DMC oraz wskaźnik produktywności zasobów mierzony poziomem PKB w odniesieniu do zużycia materiałów [euro/kg]. Kraje członkowskie wykazują znaczące zróżnicowanie w tych obszarach oraz w poziomie dynamiki zmian w badanym okresie 2000-2015.

This article deals with the issue of measuring the level of sustainability in EU Member States. The position of Poland in relation to the average and other EU member states on the basis of the leading indicators is presented. The article presents two thematic areas of sustainable development, i.e. socio-economic development and sustainable consumption and production. Leading indicators of these areas include the level of real GDP per capita, DMC domestic material consumption level and resource productivity indictor measured with the GDP level in relation to the domestic material consumption [euro/kg]. Member states show significant variations in these areas and in the level of the dynamics of changes in the studied period 2000-2015.
