Artykuł poświęcony jest porównaniu twórczości genialnej artystki o światowej sławie Eileen Gray, rozumieniu przez nią sztuki, podejściu do procesu tworzenia, traktowania rzeczy oraz idei szkoły Bauhausu stworzonej przez najwybitniejszych twórców sztuki nowoczesnej i stylu międzynarodowego. Teorie Gray na temat projektowania i architektury pozostawiły trwały ślad w sposobie postrzegania świata sztuki współczesnej. Dziś nadal jest ona uważana za jedną z głównych postaci modernizmu i pozostaje jedyną kobietą sytuowaną na tym samym poziomie, co Le Corbusier czy Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. Główny cel pracy stanowi porównanie cech jej twórczości z ideami szkoły Bauhausu.

The article is devoted to the comparison of the artist Eileen Gray’s genius about world-famous fame, her understanding of art, approach to the processes of creating, treating things, and the ideas of the Bauhaus school created by the most prominent creators of modern art, international style. Gray’s theories on design and architecture have left a lasting impression on the perception of the world of contemporary art. Today, she is still considered the epitome of modernism and is the only woman whose name is mentioned in the same breath as Le Corbusier or Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. The aim is to compare work of E. Grey to Bauhaus ideas.
