Określony w wyniku badań, poziom aktywności fizycznej studentów kierunku turystyki i rekreacji, był kwantyfikatorem przygotowania ich do przyszłej pracy związanej z propagowaniem zdrowego stylu życia. Badaniami objęto 690 studentów z czterech uczelni województwa lubelskiego, które prowadzą studia na kierunku turystyka i rekreacja. Wyższą aktywność fizyczną wykazali się studenci trybu zaocznego, a tylko w obszarze związanym z aktywnością sportowo-rekreacyjną wyższe wartości MET-min./tydzień osiągnęli studiujący w trybie stacjonarnym. Wykazano, iż studiujący w trybie stacjonarnym są efektywniej przygotowywani do kreowania zdrowego stylu życia społeczeństwa.

The level of physical activity of students of the tourism and recreation, specified in the studies, was a quantifier of their preparation to future work associated with the promotion of healthy lifestyle. The studies involved 690 students from four universities of Lublin Province which offer the tourism and recreation program. The extramural students showed higher physical activity. Full-time students got higher METmin./ week results only in the area related to sports and recreational activities. It was shown that students of stationary mode were more effectively prepared for creating healthy lifestyle of the society.
