AC/DC converters generate high harmonic currents and voltages into the power system, which causes a deformation of their shapes and increases active power losses. This article gives short review about basic methods of reduction of higher harmonics in phase currents of AC/DC converters consisting of parallel connected 6-pulse bridges.
