From 1970 significantly grows participation of road transport in goods transport market. Among 25 of European Union countries participation of road transport has grown from 489 billions tkm in 1970 to 1724 billions tkm in 2005. In goods transport is diminishing participation of railway transport and water in land transport. Significant participation of railway in goods transportation is seen only in Germany, Poland and France, however in water inland transport only in Belgium, Holland and Germany. In passenger carriage predominate car transport. Their market share in 2005 surpassed 4458 billions pkm and in 1970- 2005 still increased. Extension of fast railway network is progressive in Europe, mainly in France (TGV), Germany (ICE), Spain (AVE), Italy (TAV), Belgium and Holland. In future this network will make system of pan-eureopean connections. Motorway networks and expressways are extended, especialy in Germany, France and Spain. Acceleration construction motorways follows in new countries of membership European Union, especially in Poland, Czech Republic, Slovenia and Hungary. In forming of net match of transport in Europe it swindle big meaning transport corridors, which concentrate line connections of individual kind of transport. In extended transport corridors the newest center of transport like the fast railway and motorways they implement and capacity of old connections intensify like classic roads, ralway lines and water inland routes.
