W pracy przedstawiono nowa metodę badań kinetyki utwardzania mas szybkowiążących, pozwalającą monitorować przemieszczanie się frontu utwardzania mas w formie (rdzeniu), a także wyznaczenie prędkości przemieszczania się tego frontu. W pracy przedstawiono stanowisko pomiarowe a także opisano metodykę pomiarową. Metoda pomiarowa jest oparta na opatentowanym sposobie pomiarów przy użyciu techniki ultradźwiękowej. Badania dotyczą wyznaczenia prędkości przemieszczania się frontu utwardzania masy w funkcji parametrów technologicznych procesu - przepuszczalności masy, wielkości ziarna czy stopnia zagęszczenia masy określanego przez gęstość pozorną.

The work present the new method of investigation enabling to determine the speed rate of front hardening transfer in moulds and cores made of fast setting moulding sands. The methodology of measurement applied in the work involved own patented way using the ultrasonic technique, and self designed testing equipment. The speed rate of front hardening transfer in moulds and cores is regarded as a function of the technological parameters of the process – generally, the mould sand permeability, as a result of sand compaction defined by the apparent density of moulds and cores.
