Norweskie świątynie zarówno te najwcześniejsze, drewniane typu stav, jak i późniejsze - kamienne i ceglane powstałe w surowym klimacie zdają się najlepiej obrazować procesy przemijania i trwania. Katedra Nidarosdomen w Trondheim jest przykładem doskonałej rekonstrukcji budowli z przeszłości i odtworzeniem przestrzeni sacrum w dawnych granicach. Katedra Domkirke ruinerna w Hamar to przykład kontynuacji pierwotnej struktury i odtworzenia przestrzeni sacrum w nowych granicach. Katedra Oslo Domkirke jest wreszcie przykładem czasowego niebytu języka architektury i cyklicznej transformacji przestrzeni sacrum.

Norwegian temples both those the oldest type of wooden stav and later stone and brick ones founded in severe climate in the best way exemplify the processes of passing away and existing. Cathedral Nidarosdomen in Trondheim is the best example of reconstructing the building from the past and re - creating the space of sacrum in its previous borders. Cathedral Domkirke ruinerna in Hamar is the example of continuation of the primal structure and re - creating the space of sacrum in new borders. Finally Cathedral Oslo Domkirke is the example of temporal lack of architectural language and cyclical transformation of the space of sacrum.
