PL

Port morski coraz częściej postrzega się jako miejsce wymiany informacji i zawiązywania relacji między różnymi interesariuszami zaangażowanymi w morsko-lądowe łańcuchy dostaw. Na obszarze portu dochodzi do interakcji relacji pionowych związanych z organizacją i realizacją przemieszczania kontenerów w łańcuchu logistycznym, z relacjami poziomymi występującymi między operatorem terminalu kontenerowego i pozostałymi podmiotami zajmującymi się bezpośrednio i pośrednio obsługą kontenerów w porcie morskim. Terminale portowe stają się siłą napędową współpracy między podmiotami działającymi w otoczeniu portu i w porcie, która ma prowadzić do optymalizacji obsługi strumieni kontenerów w morsko-lądowych łańcuchach dostaw. Przekształceniu ulega ład instytucjonalny portu, tradycyjne wspólnoty portowe są zastępowane przez wspólnoty terminalowe. Wspólnota terminalowa jest tworzona wokół operatora terminalu kontenerowego i obejmuje armatorów żeglugi kontenerowej, pozostałe przedsiębiorstwa portowe, zarządy portów, operatorów logistycznych, przewoźników transportu zaplecza, urzędy i instytucje zaangażowane w obsługę kontenerowego łańcucha dostaw. Zarząd portu, na równi z pozostałymi podmiotami wspólnoty terminalowej, stara się zapewnić konkurencyjne warunki obsługi kontenerów w porcie.

Port is positioned more and more often as an information interface and place for development of relations among various stakeholders in the maritime-hinterland supply chain. Within the port area vertical oriented relations built up for organization and transfer of containers through the logistics chain interact with horizontal oriented relations developed among terminal operator and other port service providers directly or indirectly involved in the port container operations. Port terminals have become the driving force in fostering collaboration among the actors both operating outside and inside the port with a view to optimizing service of containers within maritime-hinterland supply chains. The institutional port governance is evolving and traditional port communities are replaced by terminal communities. Terminal community is being established around container terminal operator and encompasses shipping lines, other port service providers, port authority, logistics and hinterland transport operators, administration and institutions involved in the container supply chain. Port authority, as other actors of the terminal community, is focusing on providing the grounds for competitive service of containers in the port.
