W artykule zaprezentowano strategiczne projekty urbanistyczne występujące na terenie Lublany oraz Krakowa. Dokonano krótkiej charakterystyki tych inwestycji i przedstawiono tło w postaci wybranych tendencji i sił wpływających na rozwój miasta.

This paper presents strategic urban projects that are present in cities: Ljubljana and Cracow. Through short characteristic of these enterprises and with a use of sketch of the forces that influence development of cities author made an introduction to comparison studies of this topic.
