Moda na papiery niebiałe, czyli o barwach naturalnych, pastelowych, a nawet intensywnie kolorowych wytworzyła konieczność badania barwy papieru. Opisano metody instrumentalnych pomiarów parametrów barwy, warunki oświetlenia i obserwacji zgodne z obowiązującymi normami. Przedstawiono systemy barw CIE XYZ, CIELAB, CIELCH oraz CMC.

The fashion to use papers of other colours than white, thus the self-coloured, pastel and even intense coloured created a necessity to determine the colour of paper. The instrumental methods for measuring the parameters of colour, the conditions of the illumination and of observation which are consistent with the currently valid standards are described. The colour systems CIE XYZ, CIELAB, CIELH and CMC are presented.
