The article describes the accessibility of barrier-free crossings for people with disabilities (special needs). It justifies the need to move away from level crossings in certain areas or to increase the accessibility of crossings for social reasons. Examples of three solutions that can improve the accessibility of bridleways are described. The author presents two of them, while the third one, which is the result of the author’s doctoral thesis, is described in detail and justified, and criteria for application are given.
