Autor relacjonuje wybrane artykuły z monotematycznej edycji branżowego kwartalnika “Energy Forum” (ostatni numer z 2011 r.), wydawanego przez IAEE. Jest on poświęcony zeszłorocznej awarii japońskiej elektrowni jądrowej w Fukushimie. Omawiane materiały przedstawiają zróżnicowane aspekty energetyki jądrowej, obecne priorytety sektora, jego zależność od specyfiki poszczególnych krajów, geopolityki i punkty widzenia autorów. Po przeczytaniu Postscriptum nasuwa się pytanie o rolę smart grid w rozwiązywaniu problemów zasilania w energię elektryczną, zwłaszcza przy jej deficycie.

The author provides an overview of the selected articles from the “Energy Forum” (Fourth Quarter 2011), a quarterly issued by IAEE, which are focused on the analysis of the Fukushima catastrophe. The materials show various aspects of the nuclear power, current priorities of the industry, its specific character depending on a location and geopolitics as well as different viewpoints of the authors.
