In this paper author proposes measuring setup for modeling, detection and analysis of partial discharge (PD) phenomena in oil insulation under laboratory condition. There are three different research methods for PD analysis applied: electrical method (apparent charge) according to IEC 60270, radio frequency (in UHF band) method and acoustic emission (AE) method. Various measurement configurations are described including simultaneous measurements for all described methods.
